Curating the Essence of High Altitude Living

Pure, Bold Flavor from the Heart of the Rockies

Dirt road through sagebrush toward the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in Colorado’s San Luis Valley.

From Our Valley

The High-Altitude Difference

Our herbs and chiles grow at 7,700 feet in Colorado’s San Luis Valley, a high-desert valley framed by the Sangre de Cristo and San Juan mountains.

Thin, dry air, intense mountain sun and cold nights stress our plants, and they answer with concentrated, deeply aromatic flavor. Every batch is harvested, dried and hand-packed in small runs, with the harvest date written right on the jar.

Collect Them All

The Seven Verses of the High-Altitude Garden

Every jar arrives with a wooden tag, tied on by hand with jute twine. On the back of each is a verse, and only that spice’s verse. Gather all seven and they become one poem.

I. Greek Oregano · Grace
II. Thyme · Time
III. Sage · Wisdom
IV. Rosemary · Memory
V. Chile de Árbol · Passion
VI. Ring of Fire Cayenne · Spirit
VII. Aleppo Pepper · Fellowship

We’ll let the verses speak for themselves when they arrive.
